Class Rules

General Track Rules

  • Fighting, yelling at a turn marshall/fellow competitor, and any unsportmanlike behavior is prohibited and will result in suspension.
  • All traction compound used must be odorless.  All tires must be dry when put onto the track.  If you put a car with wet tires on the track, you are done for the day.
  • Everybody is required to turn marshall the next race they are in.  Failure to turn marshall will result in a failure to race unless there is a medical approved reason why you can’t turn marshall.
  • The minimum age for any competitor at Milton RC Raceway is 5 years old for the Losi NASCAR Novice divisions.  Competitors in all other divisions must be 10 years old.

Losi Asphalt Late Model Rules
  • Must use Losi Late Model Car
  • Must use Losi Late Model Body
  • Must be a 2S Battery
  • Must use any tire designated for Losi Asphalt Late Model & Losi NASCAR

Raceday Schedule & Fees

Entry fee is $15 for your first class, $10 for second class and then $5 for each additional class.

The standard racing format will feature practice, 2 rounds of qualifying heats, then the mains.  Each events Raceday Schedule will be posted on our Facebook page.

Transponder Requirements

You are REQUIRED to race a Trackmate Transponder.  You can purchase them at the track for $40 or purchase online at www.trackmateracing.com. 

 

We will be using the Trackmate Scoring System which is an Infrared system that REQUIRES LINE OF SIGHT between the transponder and the overhead scoring loop. So you MUST MOUNT TRANSPONDER WITH CLEAR OVERHEAD LINE OF SIGHT.
This will be pretty easily done in the 1RC Cars that have open cockpit areas or clear windshields. For the Losi NASCAR division, you will probably need to cut a small hole in the body to bring the transponder in clear sight. You can Google this and get some ideas, there’s a lot out there on that. This is a pretty minor modification so shouldn’t give anyone any issues.
Also for the Losi NASCAR cars, you will need to purchase this Y-Splitter below to be able to connect the transponder to the car. This Y-Splitter will go in the fan plugin and then you can plugin the fan plus the transponder. Here is the link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07PHDYZXN
